Abstract

U ovom je radu opisana state-of-the-art metoda za segmentaciju slojeva retine i motivacija iza nje. Kroz prilagodbu metode domaćoj bazi podataka analizirane su performanse modela primijenjenog na bazu podataka pacijenata koji boluju od senilne makularne degeneracije. U sklopu rada provedeno je nekoliko eksperimenata te analiziran značaj pojedinih komponenti funkcije pogreške i težina pridijeljenih slojevima i granicama između slojeva retine.

Abstract (english)

In this paper, the motivation behind the problem of retinal layer segmentation is explained
and a state-of-the-art method for this problem is described. Through adjustment of the
method to our dataset, the performance of the model was analysed when applied to a
dataset of B-scans of patients suffering from age-related macular degeneration. A number
of experiments were conducted as part of this paper and the importance of different loss
function components and weights given to retinal layers and layer borders was analysed.
