Abstract

U ovom radu obradili smo metode ispravljanja očitanja DNA sekvenci uzimajući u obzir informacije o haploidu s kojeg podaci potječu unutar diploidnog organizma. Ustvrdili smo da već ́ razvijeni alati bez uzimanja u obzir ploidnost skupa podataka vrlo dobro čuvaju informacije o ploidnosti, no otkrili smo da postoji poboljšanje kod podjele očitanja na prozore nad kojima se obavlja ispravljanje grešaka.

Abstract (english)

We explored novel methods for error correction of DNA sequencing reads while
preserving the haploid information. Unfortunately we came short in out performing
state of the art tools which not by design manage to preserve a good chunk of
haploid information. The upside is that we showed how alternative devision
of reads into correction windows leads to better results.
