Abstract

Tema ovog završnog rada bila je opisati načela rada i vrste spektralnih analizatora, filtera koji se koriste u njima, analognu i digitalnu obradu signala te izraditi spektralni analizator. Digitalni spektralni analizatori rade na principu diskretne Fourierove transformacije dok analogni koriste pojasnopropusne analogne filtre prema kojem je ovaj završni rad ostvaren. Postoje različite vrste analognih filtera čije se konfiguracije koriste ovisno o namjeni. Svi spektralni analizatori imaju svoje nedostatke i prednosti tako da prilikom odabira treba razmotriti sve čimbenike te detaljno analizirati situaciju. U radu su prikazani modeli, izvedbe, simulacije te realizacije spektralnog analizatora.

Abstract (english)

Spectrum analyzers can be analog or digital and each kind serves a purpose with its own pros and cons. Digital spectrum analyzers make use of discrete Fourier Transform (DFT or FFT) to calculate its frequency components where as analog filters use discrete components to achieve transfer function that satisfies frequency response requirements. In digital analyzers we are limited with sampling frequency, bit depth (or resolution) and processor (DSP) capabilities, but can achieve far better analysis and frequency response where as analog filters can be achieved with fairly cheap components and wide frequency ranges but at cost of frequency roll-off. In this task spectrum analyzer which utilizes parallel analog filters is constructed with main board that handles power, audio signals and controls along with 16 filter boards (16 bands) which consist of filter, small signal rectifier, sample holder and voltage dependant current source to drive IN-13 tubes for visualisation.
