Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu je objašnjeno načelo rada fluxgate magnetometra s prstenastom jezgrom. Fluxgate metoda mjerenja je uspoređena s ostalim metodama mjerenja magnetskog polja. Opisane su prednosti i mane različitih oblika feromagnetske jezgre. U okviru rada je sklopovski realiziran fluxgate magnetometar s prstenastom jezgrom i mogućnošću korištenja povratne veze. Detaljno je objašnjen svaki dio magnetometra i ispravan način korištenja. S ciljem pronalaska optimalne osjetljivosti omogućena je promjena utjecajnih veličina (frekvencija, amplituda i valni oblik pobude). Izrađeno je nekoliko sondi s različitim feromagnetskim prstenastim jezgrama te različitim brojem zavoja senzorskih zavojnica. Magnetometar je ispitan s različitim sondama i utvrđeno je kako je jednom od izrađenih sondi moguće mjeriti magnetska polja indukcije reda veličine nanotesla. Na kraju rada su opisana zapažanja tijekom mjerenja i moguća poboljšanja uređaja.

Abstract (english)

In this master thesis operating principle of the fluxgate magnetometer is explained. The fluxgate measuring method is compared with other magnetic field measuring methods. The advantages and disadvantages of different ferromagnetic core shapes are described. The ring core fluxgate magnetometer with the possibility to use a feedback loop is developed within this master thesis. Each part of the magnetometer and proper way to use it are described in detail. To find optimal sensitivity it is possible to change influential parameters (frequency, amplitude and waveform of drive signal). Few probes with different ferromagnetic ring cores and a different number of pick-up coil turns are developed. The magnetometer was tested with different probes and it was found that one of the developed probes can measure the magnetic field with induction in the order of nanoteslas. At the end of the paper, observations during the measurement and possible improvements of the device are described.
