Abstract

Ovim radom ukazuje se na važnost programa Copernicus i dobrobiti koje taj program pruža. Različite usluge koje program nudi pomažu u rješavanju izazova raznih primjena. Program Copernicus svaki dan prikuplja, pohranjuje i analizira velike količine podataka dostupne korisnicima širom svijeta. Podaci od važnosti za izradu rada su oni o klimi i stanju poljoprivrednog zemljišta dostupni putem usluga Climate Data Store (CDS) i EO Browser, jer omogućuju korištenje u području precizne poljoprivrede.

U radu je predstavljeno rješenje za pohranu velikih skupova podataka, tj. vremenskih nizova, za primjenu u području precizne poljoprivrede. U tu svrhu su korištena dva različita izvora podataka, Copernicusov CDS i senzorski podaci s in situ agrometeorološke stanice Pinova Meteo za istu geolokaciju radi usporedbe izmjerenih parametara i onih dobivenih modelom CDS-a. Rad opisuje način pristupa usluzi CDS, dohvaća spomenute podatke, obrađuje ih u format pogodan za pohranu u InfluxDB, bazu vremenskih nizova, te opisuje postupak vizualizacije velikog skupa podataka u alatu Grafana.

Naglasak rada je na izradi interaktivne responzivne web-aplikacije koja će dostupne podatke relevantne za poljoprivredu objediniti i prikazati grafički, uz obrađene i analizirane snimke sa satelita Sentinel-2 dostupne putem usluge EO Browsera.

Abstract (english)

This thesis highlights the importance of the Copernicus programme and the benefits provided by it. The various services offered by the programme help address the challenges of many applications. Copernicus collects, stores and analyzes large amounts of data available to users worldwide every day. Because of their application in precission agriculture, relevant data for this thesis are climate and condition of agricultural land. This data is available through Climate Data Store (CDS) and EO Browser services.

The thesis presents a solution for storing large data sets, i.e. time series, for use in the field of precision agriculture. For this purpose, two different data sources were used, Copernicus CDS and sensor data from the in situ agrometeorological station Pinova Meteo for the same geolocation to compare measured parameters and those obtained by the CDS model. The paper describes how to access CDS, retrieve the data, processes it in a format suitable for storage in InfluxDB, a database of time series, and describes the process of visualizing a large data set in the Grafana tool.

This thesis is focused on creating an interactive responsive web application that brings the available data relevant to agriculture together and displays it graphically together with processed and analyzed images from the Sentinel-2 satellite available through the EO Browser service.
