Abstract

Računalna forenzika je grana forenzičke znanosti koja se bavi prikupljanjem, pretraživanjem, zaštitom i analizom dokaza u digitalnom obliku te uključuje njihovu prezentaciju kao materijalnih dokaza u kasnijim eventualnim sudskim postupcima. Korporacije su sve češće izložene različitim sigurnosnim događajima, koji mogu također biti i sigurnosni incidenti. Da bi bolje zaštitile svoju digitalnu imovinu uspostavlja se sustav upravljanja informacijskom sigurnošću. Unatoč tome, sigurnosni incidenti se i dalje događaju, zbog toga je nužna stručna forenzička istraga. U radu su razmatrane forenzičke metode i procedure koje se koriste pri internim istragama unutar korporacije, analizirane su karakteristike određenih alata koji se koriste kao programska podrška za prikupljanje i pretragu digitalnih dokaza, također je opisan je računalni kriminal, motivi i profili počinitelja krivičnih radnji, kao i načini manipulacija procesom digitalne istrage te je obrađena forenzika internetskog preglednika Mozilla Firefox. A kroz analizu primjera sigurnosnog incidenta prikazana je praktična primjena teorijski obrađenih tema.

Abstract (english)

Digital forensics is a branch of forensics science that deals with collecting, searching, protection and analysis of the digital evidence form and use them as material evidence in possible court proceedings. Corporations are increasingly exposed to the various security events, which can also be the security incidents. To better protect their digital assets they established the Information Security Management System. But dispite this, the security incidents still happens and, because of that, there is a need for the professional forensic investigation. In this final work are elaborated the forensic methods and procedures used in the internal investigations within the corporation, are analised tools which are used like a support for collecting and searching digital evidence, is, also described digital crime, motives and profile of perpetrator of criminal acts and the modes of manipulation in the process of digital investigation and is elaborated the forensic of internet browser Mozilla Firefox. The pracitcal use of theoretically analysed topics is presented through the analysis of examples of the security incidents.
