Abstract

Roaming mobilno tržište u EU prije uvođenja roaming mobilnih regulativa nije bilo konkurentno što je rezultiralo znatno višim veleprodajnim i maloprodajnim cijenama. To je bio glavni razlog uvođenja roaming regulativa s kojima je EU htjela zaštititi korisnike i stvoriti jedinstveno EU telekom tržište. RH ulaskom 2007. godine u EU prihvatila je roaming regulative. U svezi s tim ovaj rad predstaviti će roaming regulatorni okvir EU, sam pojam roaminga kao i utjecaj uvođenja regulatornog okvira na telekomunikacijski, odnosno gospodarski sektor RH.

Abstract (english)

The EU roaming mobile market was not competitive enough prior the introduction of roaming mobile regulatory framework, which resulted in high wholesale and retail prices. That was the main reason for introduction of the roaming regulations aimed to protect consumers and to create EU digital single market. Entering the EU, Republic of Croatia accepted roaming regulations. Therefore, this thesis will represent the EU roaming regulation framework, the term of roaming, as well as the impact of the regulation framework on telecommunication and the economy sector in the Republic of Croatia.
