Abstract

Za potrebe ovog rada bilo je potrebno razviti mobilnu aplikaciju za Windows Phone mobilnu platformu koja će svojim korisnicima omogućiti identifikaciju porodice biljke odabirom promatranih svojstava, odnosno po njenom botaničkom ključu. Također potrebno je bilo pružiti mogućnost usporedbe dviju porodica po njihovim sličnostima/razlikama te generirati opis za željenu porodicu.

Aplikacija komunicira sa gotovim WCF web servisom preko HTTP upita te se u odgovorima od servisa primaju JSON zapisi koji se obrađuju i pohranjuju lokalno u za to pripremljene klase. Od primljenih podataka formatirano se prikazuju oni koji su korisniku relevantni te se od njega očekuje unos koji se bilježi i na temelju tog unosa se konstruiraju novi upiti servisu. Less

Abstract (english)

For the purposes of this study, it was necessary to develop a mobile application for Windows Phone mobile platform that will enable its users to identify the plant family by selecting the observed properties of plants, which is to say, by its botanical key. Also it was necessary to provide the user with the ability to compare two families according to their similarities/differences and generate a description of the desired family.

The application communicates with the WCF web service via HTTP requests, responses of the service are received as JSON files that are processed and stored locally in classes prepared for this purpose.
