Abstract

The master thesis investigates issues related to finding players for a multiplayer gaming session in a mobile network. Thesis proposes and implements the introduction of a player skill level parameter Psk in the opponent search with the goal to find challenging opponents for a multiplayer gaming session. In multiplayer games finding challenging opponents is equally important for the player's overall enjoyment of the game as the connection quality. Rating players according to their in-game... More success and difference in Psk between opponents is important for providing a player with a joust reward for the effort invested in playing. The thesis implements a rating system for evaluating Psk by using the Fuzzy Logic rating algorithm that takes into account a player's in-game success and the Psk difference between players. Magistarski rad istražuje pitanja vezana uz nalaženje igrača za igre s više igrača u pokretnoj mreži. Rad predlaže i implementira uvođenje vještine igrača (player skill level, Psk) kao parametra u potrazi za protivnicima sa ciljem nalaženja izazovnih igrača za igranje. U igrama s više igrača nalaženje izazovnih igrača jednako je važno za kvalitetan doživljaj igre kao i dobra kvaliteta veze.
