Abstract

CAN protokol vrlo je robustan protokol s visokom pouzdanošću. U radu je teorijski
obrađen podatkovni i fizički sloj CAN protokola. Također je izrađen analizator
CAN sabirnice. Osmišljen je protokol na višoj razini za testiranje sustava, napravljena
mjerenja na podatkovnom i fizičkom sloju CAN sabirnice i opisan postupak i rezultati.
Za fizički sloj opisan je postupak mjerenja diferencijalnih smetnji, provjera ispravnosti
zaključenja sabirnice i detekcija poretka čvorova na sabirnici. Za podatkovni sloj opisan
je postupak mjerenja popunjenosti sabirnice, mjerenje i raspoznavanje grešaka i
distribucija grešaka po čvorovima.

Abstract (english)

CAN protocol is a very robust protocol with high reliability. This thesis deals with
the theoretical background of data and physical layers of CAN protocol. Additionally,
an analyzer of CAN bus was made. A protocol on a higher level for system testing
was developed, measurements of data and physical layers of CAN bus were made and
the accompanying procedure and results are explained. Regarding the physical layer,
the following is described: the procedure of measuring differential noise, checking
of validity of bus termination and detection of node order. Moreover, regarding the
data layer, the following is described: the procedure of measuring bus availability,
measuring and recognizing errors and the distribution of errors per node.
