Abstract

U radu su objašnjene osnovne značajke audio signala. Objašnjeni su pojmovi linearnog i nelinearnog izobličenja. Prikazan je nastanak linearnih i nelinearnih izobličenja. Za mjerenje izobličenja potreban je i subjektivan dojam. Potrebno je uzet u obzir i razinu buke u prostoriji u kojoj se slušatelj nalazi te, osim tehničkih čimbenika koji utječu na zamjetljivost izobličenja, valja uzeti u obzir i slušateljevo iskustvo i koncentraciju. Izobličenja prisutna su također i u digitalnim sustavima gdje je najosjetljiviji korak, korak kvantizacije. Predstavljeni su tehnički zahtjevi koji se moraju zadovoljiti kako bi se izobličenja svela na minimum.

Abstract (english)

This work explains the basic features of audio signals. The terms of linear and nonlinear distortions are explained. The formation of linear and nonlinear distortions is featured. A subjective impression is required for measuring distortions. It is necessary to take into account the noise level in the room where the listener is located and, apart from the technical factors that affect the perceptibility of the distortions, one should take into account the listener's experience and concentration. Distortions are also present in digital systems where the most sensitive step is the quantization step of the process. The technical requirements that must be met in order to minimize distortion are presented.
