Abstract

U radu je opisana važnost IOT testiranja. Dane su osnove rada UMTS radio dijela (UTRAN-a) kao nove pristupne tehnologije drugačije od 2,5G sustava, te su navedeni entiteti UMTS sustava i objašnjen njihov rad i značenje u samom sustavu. Dan je temeljit pregled protokola Iu sučelja, u CS i PS domeni, sa relevantnim parametrima i svrhom svakog od njih, te njihovom međusobnom povezanošću. Kroz testiranja osnovnih vrsta poziva u obje domene dan je pregled ispravnog rada sustava te parametara koji ga omogućuju, kao i pregled i objašnjenja mogućih grešaka koje se u sustavu mogu pronaći, te riješenja za te probleme. Za kraj su prezentirani rezultati testiranja, te pregled i mogućnosti razvoja hrvatskog telekomunikacijskog sustava prema UMTS-u.

Abstract (english)

The essay describes the importance of IOT testing. Basic functionalities of UMTS radio part (UTRAN) are presented, entities of the UMTS system as well as their place and functionality within the system. The UMTS Iu interface is described very detailed, both for CS and PO domain, with their relevant parameters and purpose. Through the basic calls testing the functionality of the system is described, the parameters that make it functional as well as the examples of the possible mistakes in the system and their solutions. At the end the results are presented, followed by the overview and the possibilities of the future development of the Croatian telecommunications network.
