Abstract

Osobe starije životne dobi često su podložne raznim oboljenjima stoga sustav eWALL može pomoći smanjivanju njihovih problema i olakšati im život. eWALL je sustav inteligentnih usluga koji se između ostalog sastoji od senzora i raznih uređaja postavljenih na osobu ili u njenu neposrednu blizinu te u stan ili kuću. Senzori i uređaji su međusobno povezani te tako čine osobnu ili tjelesnu komunikacijsku mrežu, kako bi bilo omogućeno praćenje zdravstvenog stanja korisnika od strane medicinskog osoblja. Ovakva komunikacijska mreža često je ostvarena pomoću Bluetooth tehnologije. Bluetooth tehnologija je radiofrekvencijska veza kratkog dometa, a pogodna je jer je troškovno učinkovita i ekonomična u potrošnji energije, te omogućuje bežično povezivanje i brz prijenos podataka imeđu više uređaja na manjoj udaljenosti.
U radu je prikazana aplikacija za povezivanje osobne digitalne vage i komunikacijske platforme, kako bi se osobama starije životne dobi omogućilo lakše kontroliranje tjelesne težine. Podaci o izmjerenoj težini Bluetooth vezom šalju se na prikaznik, te ju je lako očitati i pratiti promjene tijekom vremena.

Abstract (english)

Elderly people are often susceptible to different ailments, thus eWALL system can help in reducing their problems and make their life easier. eWALL is a system consisting of intelligent services which, amongst other things, consists of sensors and different devices placed upon a person or in his or her surrounding, apartment or house. Sensors and devices are connected between each other and as such they form personal or body area communication network enabling medical staff to track health condition of end user.
Such communication network is often created through usage of Bluetooth technology. Bluetooth technology is a short range radiofrequency connection and it is suitable because it is low cost and economical in sense of energy expenditure while at the same time it enables wireless connection and fast data transfer between more devices in proximity to one another.
In this work application is presented, which displays connection between personal digital scale and communication platform so that elderly people could easily control body weight. Data on measured weight are shown on the display through Bluetooth connection and they are easy to read and track changes during time.
