Abstract

Rad opisuje metode povezivanja računalnih mreža putem interaktivne satelitske mreže temeljene na sustavu povratnog satelitskog kanala prema preporuci DVB-RCS. Prikazani su temeljni principi prijenosa različitih vrsta podataka i servisnih informacija putem MPEG-2 prijenosnog toka, te osnovne činjenice o normi DVB. Dan je prikaz preporuke DVB-RCS kao predloška arhitekture sustava temeljenim na povratnim satelitskim kanalima. Predloženi su načini realizacije generatora DVB-RCS servisnih tablica, s posebnim naglaskom na niz preporuka vezanih uz prikaz strukture servisnih tablica, načina njihovog stvaranja i provjere valjanosti. Razrađen je opisni jezik TDL, temeljen na normi XML, za opis strukture tablice i opis njezinih elemenata, prilagođen metodama interaktivnog stvaranja skupa tablica. Opisani su tipični objektni modeli sustava tablica. Predložene su metode stvaranja izlaznog prijenosnog toka servisnih informacija na temelju DVB i MPEG preporuka. Ukratko je prikazana realizacija generatora DVB-RCS servisnih tablica, s posebni osvrtom na grafičko sučelje prema operateru sustava.

Abstract (english)

The thesis addresses methods and mechanisms for computer networks interconnection through the interactive satellite network based on satellite return channel system, according to the DVB-RCS recommendation. Different data types and service information transmission principles, using MPEG-2 transport stream, are shown. The DVB-RCS recommendation, specified on top of DVB standards is described, as a pattern to build systems based on satellite return channel. Specifications for building DVB-RCS service table generator are given, with special accent on set of recommendations. Set of recommendations is related to mechanism for service table structure description, ways of creating tables and way of table set consistency check performance. Table description language TDL is specified on top of XML language in order to achieve efficient and open mechanism to describe table structure and properties of table elements. The TDL language is designed to support interactive table creation process. Typical object-based models of DVB-RCS service table set are given. Method for creating of MPEG-2 transport stream which carries service information are shown. Those methods are based on standard MPEG and DVB specifications. Implementation of DVB-RCS service tables generator is described in general, with special attention to system operator's graphic interface.
