Abstract

Ovim radom obuhvaćeno je široko područje mjerenja brzine toka krvi ultrazvukom. Kako bi pristup mjerenju brzine toka krvi bio ispravan, potrebno je poznavati obilježja strujanja krvi u krvnim žilama, što je obrađeno na početku rada. Opisana su svojstva ultrazvučnih valova i utjecaj krvi i tkiva na njihovo širenje, budući da ona omogućuju, ali i ograničavaju kasnije opisane mjerne metode. Nadalje, obrađene su vrste ultrazvučnih pretvarača koji se koriste u ovim mjerenjima, te načini prikazivanja mjerenih vrijednosti. U slijedećim poglavljima obuhvaćeni su najzastupljeniji sustavi za mjerenje brzine toka krvi ultrazvukom i to: sustavi na principu Dopplerovog efekta, sustavi na principu korelacije u vremenskoj domeni, te sustavi na principu faznog pomaka, kao i neki sustavi koji su u postupku ispitivanja i nisu još u komercijalnoj uporabi.

Abstract (english)

A wide field of blood flow velocity estimation using ultrasound is presented in this paper. In order to make a proper approach to the blood velocity measurements, it is necessary to have knowledge of characteristics of blood flow in vessels, so it is a topic on the beginning of the paper. Properties of propagation ultrasound waves and their interaction with blood and tissue are considered, since they make possible, but also limit later described methods of measuring blood velocity. Further are described types of ultrasound transducers used in this systems, as well as types of ultrasound images and presentations of the results of measurements. Most of space is dedicated to the description of ultrasound systems and methods most used in practice, such as: Doppler systems, time shift systems and phase shift systems. The attention is also paid to some systems that are still developing and have not yet appeared in commercial equipment.
