Abstract

U radu su opisane prednosti i nedostaci postojećih i novih telekomunikacijskih mrežnih arhitektura i usluga. Pretpostavka za postizanje bolje i jednostavnije mrežne arhitekture je izgradnja prilaza višemedijskih usluga kao i omogućenje njihove što kvalitetnije veze.
Rješenje je postignuto uporabom otvorene mrežne arhitekture s konceptom virtualnog čvora i skupa novih komunikacijskih protokola koji omogućuju prilaz različitih medija. Analizirana je funkcionalnost virtualnog čvora, sastavnih funkcionalnih jedinica s naglaskom na agentu poziva. Posebice su analizirane veze agenta poziva s transportnom i signalizacijskom jedinicom, te veza s pristupnim mrežama.
Analizirani mrežni model je temelj razvoja projekta Media Gateway Controller u kojem je izrađen mjerni program. Na kraju su priloženi slučajevi povezivanja značajnijih usluga, te korištenja modela medijskih prilaza u stvarnom okruženju. Potvrđena je opravdanost odabira analizirane mrežne arhitekture kao pravog rješenja arhitekture telekomunikacijske mreže.

Abstract (english)

Actual network telecommunication architectures and services, new generation of networks and services and their advantages and disadvantages are discussed. The developing of the multiservice media gateways and their interconnectivity is one of the necessary issues regarding to reach better and common network architecture.
The goal is achievable by using open network structure with virtual switch concept and whole set of new communication protocols, which enable access for different media. Introduction to gateway problem begins by definition of virtual switch's functionality and their contained functional entities with concentration on call agent. Interoperability of the call agent with the rest of entities and access protocols between them is described later as well.
Discussed model is already implemented as a base in Media Gateway Controller project, where measurement program was tailored. Examples of associated reason to choose analysed network structure as a good solution for the next generation of telecommunication network.
