Abstract

Ovaj završni rad govori o proizvodnji elektriĉne i toplinske energije korištenjem šumske biomase u Republici Hrvatskoj te o potencijalima s kojima raspolaţe u realizaciji takvih projekata. U uvodu je ukratko opisana problematika rada. Nakon uvoda slijedi opis zakonskog i regulatornog okvira Europske Unije i Hrvatske koji se tiĉu kogeneracijskih postrojenja. Potom je opisano stanje šuma na teritoriju Hrvatske, karakteristike drva kao goriva te potencijal proizvodnje i korištenja drvne biomase. Zatim slijedi kratak opis kogeneracijskih tehnologija i njihova primjena u Hrvatskoj. Poslije toga je kratko opisana studija izvodljivosti nakon ĉega slijedi jednostavan primjer studije izvodljivosti kogeneracijskog postrojenja nekog fiktivnog poduzeća. Rad završava zakljuĉkom koji razmatra prednosti i mane u korištenju takvih kogeneracijskih postrojenja u Hrvatskoj.

Abstract (english)

This final thesis talks about production of electricity and heat using forest biomass in the Republic of Croatia and about potentials that country has in realization that kind of projects. Issue is briefly described in the introduction. After the introduction follows description of legal and regulatory framework of the European Union and Croatia that are concerning about cogeneration. Then follows state of Croatia’s forests, characteristics description of wood as a fuel and the potential in production and use of the forest biomass. Afterwards, short description of cogeneration technology is given and their application in Croatia. Later, feasibility study is shortly described and simple cogeneration feasibility study example of some fictive company is given. This thesis ends with conclusion which considers advantages and flaws of that kind of cogeneration in Croatia.
