Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad opisuje izgradnju informacijskog sustava za dohvaćanje
novinskih članaka s web portala, izgradnju modelâ za određivanje teme članka,
prepoznavanje vlastitih imena u tekstu članka i ocjenu sentimenta članka te
spremanje podataka u bazu podataka i njihove odgovarajuće vizualizacije na web
stranici. Rad donosi i opis tehnologija korištenih pri izgradnji navedenih modela,
pregled rada algoritama koji ih implementiraju te rezultate postignute radom
sustava nad određenim skupom novinskih članaka.

Abstract (english)

This paper describes the construction of an information system for retrieving
news articles from a web portal, building a model for determining an article topic,
recognizing personal names in the article text and assessing the sentiment of the
article, storing data in the database and their corresponding visualization on the
web page. In addition, the paper provides a description of the technologies used in
the construction of the above mentioned models, an overview of the algorithms
that implement them and results accomplished while this information system was
in use.
