Abstract

U ovom radu se obrađuje prikupljanje elektromagnetske energije iz okoline. Opisan je povijesni razvoj te primjene prikupljanja energije iz okoline. Teorijski su obrađene ultraširokopojasne antene te je opisano projektiranje i izradba logaritamske spiralne tekstilne antene koja je primjenjiva za prikupljanje EM energije iz slobodnog prostora. Obrađena je prilagodba impedancije te su opisane prilagodne mreže pri čemu je posebna pažnja usmjerena na eksponencijalni transformator impedancije. Zatim je objašnjen ispravljač, počevši od nekoliko vrsta poluvalnog ispravljača do punovalnih ispravljača i načina na koji oni pretvaraju izmjeničnu u istosmjernu snagu. U praktičnom dijelu je prvo opisana implementacija prilagodne mreže potrebne za mjerenje karakteristika antene, a zatim mjerenje gustoće snage kako bi se znalo kolikom snagom antena raspolaže pri pretvorbi. Ispitana efikasnost sustava za prikupljanje energije iz okoline pokazuje da je efikasnost veća na nižim frekvencijama pri većoj ulaznoj snazi.

Abstract (english)

The topic of this thesis is harvesting of the environmental energy. First is described the historical development and applications of the energy harvesting. Then is described the theoretical background of the ultra wideband, especially the design of the logarithmic spiral antenna which is applicable for the energy harvesting from the free space. Moreover, the impedance matching is described, especially the the exponential impedance transformer. Afterwards the rectifier is being described, from the half-wave rectifier to the ful-wave rectifier and the way of rectifying the alternating power to the direct power. In the practical part of this thesis is described the implementation of the matching network needed for the antenna measurements. Finally are described the measurements of the power density to know the power which is available on the antenna aperture. The efficiency of the harvester iz higher on the lower frequencies with higher input power.
