Abstract

Ovaj rad obrađuje problem prikupljanja senzorskih očitanja i njihova prosljeđivanja zainteresiranim korisnicima. Sustav izgrađen u ovom radu ima sposobnost proširenja s novim vrstama senzorskih očitanja, za koja se potom mogu primati objave. U radu je razvijen kompletni sustav, što uključuje arhitekturu poslužitelja, algoritme, strukture podataka i mobilnu aplikaciju kao klijenta. Za definiranje prostornih geometrija korišten je format GeoJSON, a za izvođenje predikata između dvije geometrije koristi se programska knjižnica Java Topology Suite. Izgrađeni sustav testiran je sa skupom pretplata i objava koji su generirani odgovarajućim programom, razvijenim isključivo za potrebe ovog rada. Rezultati testiranja pokazuju kako je sustav skalabilan, fleksibilan i zadovoljavajuće brz u prosljeđivanju pristiglih senzorskih očitanja korisnicima čije pretplate preklapa objava.

Abstract (english)

This thesis focuses on sensor reading acquiring and propagation of readings to participants in system who are showing interest in such data. System has been built in flexible manner, so new sensor readings types can be registered in runtime, and then published as they come. The system built in this thesis is completely functional, including server arhitecture, algorithms, data structures and mobile application that serves as client. GeoJSON format is used to describe spatial components, and spatial predicates are evaluated using Java Topology Suite library. The system has been tested with set of subscriptions and sensor readings, which are generated using custom program, developed only to ensure test data. Result are showing that system is scalable, flexible and satisfactorily fast when it comes to forwarding sensor readings to those clients that have matching subscriptions for published sensor reading.
