Abstract

U ovom radu opisane su komponente koje tvore prijenosni tok: struktura TS paketa te sadržaj koji prenose (audio i video podaci te informacije o programima sadržane u PSI tablicama). Objašnjen je način na koji se tvore TS paketi te uloga svake komponente zaglavlja koja nosi informacije potrebne pri dekodiranju sadržaja te pri demultipleksiranju paketa. Pojašnjena je uloga PSI tablica i njihova važnost u procesu demultipleksiranja. Na temelju pregleda strukture prijenosnog toka, u programskom jeziku Python napravljen je sustav koji stvara pakete, simulira njihovo slanje te odrađuje proces demultipleksiranja.

Abstract (english)

This work contains the overview of all the components that the Transport Stream is made of: structure of TS packets and their content (video data, audio data and information about programs which are given in PSI tables). The packet creation is explained along with functions of every component of the given packet header that is needed for proper decoding process and demultiplexing. The importance of PSI tables is explained and its significance in the process of demultiplexing. Based on the overview, the simulation of that system is created in programming language Python.
