Abstract

U ovom radu, predstavljena je neinvazivna metoda za mjerenje i analizu disanja korištenjem DecaWave modula DWM1000 koji je u skladu s IEEE 802.15.4-2011 UWB standardom. UWB odašiljač, postavljen na prednjoj strani prsnog koša, odašilje ultra-kratke monocikličke impulse zadanom frekvencijom ponavljanja impulsa na ultra-širokom frekvencijskom području. UWB prijemnik, postavljen na stražnjoj strani prsnog koša, mjeri impulsni odziv kanala (CIR). Na izlazni signal UWB modula primijenjen je algoritam za izlučivanje značajki disanja. Referentni sustav za kontinuirano praćenje disanja mjerenjem promjene volumena prsnog koša temelji se na promjeni otpora vodljive gumene trake. Razvijeni sustavi su vremenski sinkronizirani i uspoređeni su rezultati mjerenja disanja pomoću UWB sustava i referentnog sustava. Dobiveni rezultati potvrđuju uspješno mjerenje i analizu disanja korištenjem modula DWM1000.

Abstract (english)

In this paper, a non-invasive method for measurement and analysis of respiration using DecaWave DWM1000 module compliant with the IEEE 802.15.4-2011 UWB standard is presented. UWB transmitter, placed on the anterior thoracic wall, generates ultra-short monocycle pulses with determined pulse repetition frequency on ultra-wide bandwith. UWB receiver, placed on the posterior thoracic wall, measures the channel impulse response (CIR). The algorithm for respiration data extraction is applied to output signal of the UWB module. The reference system for continuous monitoring of breathing activity by measuring dimension changes of the thorax is based on corresponding resistance changes of conductive rubber cord stretch sensor. Developed systems are synchronized and respiration data measurements of UWB system are compared to measurements of the reference system. Obtained results showed the validity of measurement and analysis of respiration using DWM1000 module.
