Abstract

Menadžment federativnog identiteta je uređenje između više sustava koje bi korisnicima omogućilo korištenje istih identifikacijskih podataka u svrhu dobivanja pristupa mrežama svih sustava u grupi. Korištenje takvog uređenja naziva se federacija identiteta. Ona se sastoji od više sustava koji prihvaćaju autentifikaciju korisnika ukoliko postoji treći sustav koji ga proglašava autentificiranim. To se postiže jednostrukom prijavom koja omogućuje korisnicima pristup raznim uslugama koristeći jednu prijavu. Postoje različite razine sigurnosti za jednostruku prijavu, a sve uključuju kombinaciju znanja, posjedovanja ili biometrijskih faktora. Protokoli za udruženu autentifikaciju korisnika, kao što su OpenID Connect i SAML 2.0, omogućuju izradu sustava koji dopuštaju krajnjim korisnicima da koriste različite vrste vjerodajnica prilikom prijave i autentifikacije. Jedan od tih sustava je osmišljen od strane Vlade Republike Hrvatske pod nazivom e-Građani. Sustav e-Građani uspostavljen je s ciljem modernizacije, pojednostavljenja i ubrzanja komunikacije građana i javnog sektora te povećanja transparentnosti pružanja javnih usluga. Jedna od sastavnica e-Građana je Nacionalni identifikacijski i autentifikacijski sustav (NIAS) čiji je osnovni zadatak sigurna i pouzdana identifikacija i autentifikacija korisnika koji putem odgovarajuće vjerodajnice pristupaju javnim elektroničkim uslugama. U svom radu, NIAS razmjenjuje samo one podatke koji su nužni za jednoznačnu identifikaciju korisnika. Tajne podatke vezane uz vjerodajnicu zna samo korisnik. NIAS razlikuje četiri razine sigurnosti s obzirom na štetnost posljedica od lažnog predstavljanja.

Abstract (english)

Federation identity management is a multi-system arrangement that allows users to use the same identification data to gain access to all system networks in the group. Use of such an arrangement is called a federation of identities. It consists of multiple systems that accept user authentication if there is a third system that declares it authenticated. That can be achieved with single sign on, which enables users to access various services using one login. There are different security levels for single sign-on, all involving a combination of knowledge, possession, or inheret factor. User association protocols, such as OpenID Connect and SAML 2.0, allow systems to be created, which allow end users to use different types of credentials when logging in and authenticating. One of these systems was designed by the Government of the Republic of Croatia called e-Građani. The system was established with the aim of modernizing, simplifying and accelerating communication between citizens and the public sector and increasing the transparency of the provision of public services. One of the e-Građani’s components is NIAS (National Identification and Authentication system), whose basic task is secure and reliable identification and authentication of users accessing public electronic services with appropriate credentials. In its work, NIAS only exchanges information that is necessary for a unique identification of users. Secrets credentials are known only to users. NIAS distinguishes four levels of security with respect to the harm due to false representation.
