Abstract

U početku se upoznaje se s uvodom u generiranje koda kao rješenje problema ponavljajućeg pisanja istog ili sličnog koda koji se relativno lako može automatizirati. Zadatak je izrada generatora web-servisa na temelju podatkovnog modela koristeći T4 ili "Text Template Transformation Toolkit" predloške koji služe za generiranje koda. Izrađuje se aplikacija koja koristi T4 predložak kako bi generirala web-servise unutar projekta koji koristi Entity Framework za preslikavanje modela iz baze podataka. Opisuju se problemi kod izrade generatora, odluke koje dovode do jednostavnijeg rješenja i sama izrada generatora po koracima. Osim funkcionalnosti koje već postoje unutar Visual Studia, dodaje se funkcionalnost za dovlačenje atributa spojenih relacija iz baze podataka.

Abstract (english)

In introduction we meet the basic code generation as solution to problem of repetitive writing of the same or similar code that can relatively easily be automated. The task is generating a web-service generator based on data model using the T4 or „Text Template Transformation Toolkit“ templates used to generate code. An application that uses the T4 template to generate web-services within a project which uses Entity Framework to map the database model is being made. Problems in creating a generator, decisions that lead to a simpler solution and creation itself are described in steps. In addition to the functionality that already exists withing Visual Studio, the functionality for retrieving the attributes of joined relations from the database is added.
