Abstract

U ovom radu je opisana teorijska osnova i implementacija deformabilnih modela. Implementacija je ostvarena u programskom okruženju MATLAB. Segmentacija, koju možemo opisati kao postupak izdvajanja dijelova slike koji su nam posebno interesantni, je jedna od najčešćih problema digitalne obrade slike. Deformabilni modeli pružaju uspješnu primjenu u segmentaciji slike. U ovom radu se konkretno koriste geometrijski deformabilni modeli zbog svojih prednosti nad parametarskim deformabilnim modelima. Snimka koja je korištena za segmentaciju je CT snimka miša. Računalna tomografija (CT) je dijagnostička metoda koja koristi rendgensko zračenje za prikaz tvrdih struktura organizma.

Abstract (english)

This paper describes theoretical basis and implementation of deformable models. Deformable models are implemented in high-level language MATLAB. They have been proven to be effective in segmenting structures from medical images. In this paper we used geometric deformable models because of their advantage over the parametric deformable models. For modeling object we used CT scan of a mouse. Computed tomography (CT) is a noninvasive diagnostic imaging procedure that uses a combination of X-rays and computer technology to produce horizontal, or axial, images (often called slices) of the body.
