Abstract

Digitalni stolovi za mješanje audio signala su alternativa analognim stolovima. Obrada signala se odvija u digitalnoj domeni, i da bi se signal doveo u to stanje trebamo AD pretvarač. Nakon obrade trebamo ga vratiti u stvarini svijet i za to nam treba DA pretvarač. Ova dva koraka dodaju propagacijsko kašnjenje i ako je ono pre veliko može zbunjivati izvođače dok snimaju i izvode, i publiku dok slušaju izvedbu u živo. Glavna prednost im je jednostavost internog prespajanja, malena potrošnja... More energije i robusnost signala. Dolaze s integriranim procesnim blokovima koje bi trebalo zasebno nabavljati i instalirati u slučaju analognih stolova. Dobri algoritmi su teško dostupni i treba ih platiti, ali opet manje nego analogne varijante. S vremenom sve više zastupaju dio tonske i audio obrade, te snimanja, i po kvaliteti prate analogne varijante. Less

Abstract (english)

Digital mixing consoles are an alternative to analog mixing consoles. The signal procesing is done in the digital domain, and for the signal to get to that domain we need an AD converter. After the processing is finished the signal needs to return to the real world, and for that we nedd a DA converter. These two steps induce a signal propagation delay, and if it's to big it can confuze and desorient the preformers while they record and preform, and the audience while they listen toa live... More preformance. The main advantage of digital consoles is their internal routing simplicity, low power consumption and signal robustness. They come with integrated signal procesing blocks which would need to be bought separatly, and installed separetly form an analog mixing console. Good processing algorithms are hard and costly to come by, but still cheaper than their analog counterparts. With time more and more of the audio market uses digital mixers, and their quality is on par with analog mixers. Less
