Abstract

Tema ovog rada je analiza novih poluvodičkih materijala i poluvodičkih sklopki utemeljenih na njima. U prvom dijelu rada opisuju se i analiziraju svojstva novih poluvodičkih materijala i trenutno stanje poluvodičkih sklopki utemeljenih na novim poluvodičkim materijalima. U drugom dijelu rada analiziraju se karakteristike poluvodičkih sklopki utemeljnih na silicijevom karbidu i uspoređuju sa karakteristikama poluvodičkih sklopova utemeljenih na siliciju. Na kraju su prikazani i uspoređeni rezultati simulacija modela poluvodičkih sklopki utemeljenih na silicijevom karbidu i siliciju.

Abstract (english)

Subject of this paper was analysis of wide band gap semiconductors and power devices based on wide band gap semiconductors. In the first part of the paper properties of wide band gap semiconductors were analysed and brief review of current status and trends of WBG power devices was given. In the second part characteristics of power devices based on silicon carbide were analysed and compared with characteristics of power devices based on silicon. Finally, simulation results were presented and compared between the two.
