Abstract

U ovom radu obrađen je prijenos električne energije visokim istosmjernim naponom, poznat kao HVDC. Ukratko je opisan njegov razvoj kroz povijest. Napravljena je usporedba između izmjeničnog i istosmjernog prijenosa s naglaskom na prednosti i mane istosmjernog. Zatim je opisan sustav za prijenos struje i njegove komponenete s naglaskom na pretvaračku stanicu. Provedena je i usporedba između VSC i CSC pretvarača. Nadalje je opisana konfiguracija samog HVDC sustava, tj. položaj i funkcija pojedinih komponenata u mreži.
U praktičnom dijelu u programskom okruženju Neplan su se međusobno povezale dvije IEEE test mreže od 24 čvorišta istosmjernim vezama, te su opisane prilike i utjecaji na sustave koje povezuju.

Abstract (english)

In this project the transmission of current on high voltage, known as HVDC, is discussed. It is briefly described its development through history. Moreover, a comparison is made between AC and DC transmission with emphasis on the advantages and disadvantages of HVDC. Subsequently the system for HVDC transmission and its components, with emphasis on converter station, are described. A comparison between VSC and CSC converter is also made. Furthermore, the configuration of the HVDC system, the position and function of its individual components in the network are described.
In the practical part of the project in the program environment Neplan, two IEEE test network with 24 nodes are connected with DC connections, and their impact on the systems is discussed.
