Abstract

Pretraživači teksta su bitni za rad interneta. Većina ljudi njihov rad uzima zdravo za gotovo i ne pita se kako oni doista funkcioniraju. Kako bi se izgradio pretraživač teksta potrebno je prije same pretrage obraditi podatke. Podaci prolaze kroz proces svođenja riječi na korijen, uklanjanja dijakritika i pretvaranje velikih slova u mala. Takav tekst se pohranjuje u odgovarajuće strukture podataka. Korisnik zadaje 3 vrste upita : fraze, upiti potpune pretrage teksta i upiti približne pretrage teksta. Algoritam pretrage obavlja korisnički upit i dohvaća tekstualne dokumente kod kojih je pronašao podudaranje. Prije nego što se rezultati prikažu korisniku, algoritam rangiranja rangira dobivene rezultate kako bi korisnik vidio najrelevantnije rezultate prve i algoritam provjere privatnosti podataka filtrira podatke koje korisnik nema pravo vidjeti.

Abstract (english)

Search engines are crucial for the functioning of the Internet. Most people take them for granted and do not wonder how they function. In order to build a search engine, it is necessary to process the data before the query itself. The data undergo a process of stemming, removal of diacritics and conversion of uppercase into lowercase. Such text is stored into certain data structures. The user can make three types of query: phrase query, full text search query and fuzzy text search query. The search algorithm executes the search query and retrieves matched text documents. Before the results are presented to the user, the scoring algorithm ranks the given results according to their relevance. Furthermore, the privacy checking algorithm filters the data to which the user has restricted access.
