Abstract

Direktno pogonjeni generatori u vjetroagregatima su važni i izazovni problem zbog svih prednosti prijenosa rotacije bez mehaničkog prijenosnika. Takvi vjetroagregati uobičajeno koriste sensor pozicije za potrebe algoritma upravljanja. Taj senzor često radi u teškim i ekstremnim radnim okruženjima što predstavlja kritčnu točku za povećanje raspoloživosti sustava vjetroagregata. Tema ovoga rada je eliminacija encodera montiraanog na osovinu generatora vjetroagregata implementacijom algoritma za estimaciju kuta zakreta i brzine vrtnje rotora generatora.

Za realizaciju vektorskog upravljanja direktno pogonjenih sinkgornih generatora s permanentnim magnetima ili uzbudnim namotima u vjetroagregatim bez senzora kuta zakreta i brzine vrtnje, implemenetiran je nederivirajući Kalmanov filtar za estimaciju kuta zakreta i brzine vrtnje. Prije implementacije algoritma na laboratorijskom postavu i testa točnosti potrebno je testirati razvijene algoritme simulacijski. Rezultati simulacija s UKF estimacijom i u uvjetima promjenjivog vjetra pokazuju da se razvijeni algoritam može učinkovito koristiti za esimaciju kuta zakreta i brzine vrtnje generatora vjetroagregata. Eksperimentalni rezultati pokazuju da su karakteristike predložene metode dobre i da su estimacije kuta zakreta i brzine vrtnje generatora točne.

Abstract (english)

Direct drive for wind turbines is a relevant and challenging issue, hence they carry all of the advantages of gearless motion transmission. Nevertheless, they need customization for the housing of the position sensor. This sensor is often forced to work in hard, even extreme, environmental conditions, and it actually represents the most critical item for the drive reliability. In this case, the sensorless solution is necessary. This thesis has the main scope to eliminate the encoder mounted on the shaft of a PMSG or a WRSG for wind turbine applications by implementing an algorithm from were the position and speed will be determinated.

To realize vector control for direct-driven PMSG or WRSG in energy generation system without position and speed sensors,Uncsented Kalman Filtering (UKF) algorithm was applied to estimate rotor position and speed. Before implementing the algorithm in the laboratory and test the corecteness is necessary to test the theoretical performance by using the simulations. The simulation results of PMSG and WRSG with UKF sensorless control under the variable wind condition, show that the Uncsented Kalman Filter can be efficiently implemented to estimate the speed and rotor position. The experimental results show the proposed method performs well and speed and angle estimation is correct.
