Abstract

Ovim radom dan je kratak pregled načina rada sinkronog generatora i načina rada beskontaktne uzbude sinkronog generatora. Nakon teorijskog uvoda slijedi prikaz simulacijskih modela upravljanja uzbudom, izrađenih u programskom paketu MATLAB Simulink. Stabilnost generatora na mreži ispitana je modelom zasnovanim na Heffron-Philips-ovom modelu generatora. U trećem poglavlju dan je opis laboratorijskog postava sustava upravljanja sinkronim generatorom s rotirajućim diodama (54 kVA). Opis laboratorijskog postava upotpunjen je električnom shemom upravljačkog ormara sustava uzbude. Algoritam upravljanja uzbudom implementiran je na programirljivom logičkom kontroleru, što je opisano u četvrtom poglavlju. U algoritmu su ostvareni regulator struje uzbude uzbudnika, regulator napona generatora te su definirani postupci uklopa generatora u otočom radu i sinkronizacije generatora za rad na mreži. Djelovanje regulatora napona eksperimentalno je provjereno na laboratorijskom modelu generatora.

Abstract (english)

This thesis provides a brief overview of the operation of synchronous generators and their brushless excitation systems. Following the theoretical introduction, simulation models for excitation control, created in MATLAB Simulink, are presented. The stability of the generator in grid operation was analyzed using a model based on the Heffron-Phillips generator model. The third chapter describes the laboratory setup for the control system of a synchronous generator with rotating diodes (54 kVA). The description of the laboratory setup is complemented by the electrical schematic of the excitation system control cabinet. The fourth chapter details the implementation of excitation control algorithm on a programmable logic controller. This algorithm includes the exciter current regulator, the generator voltage regulator and defines procedures for island operation and synchronization of the generator with the grid. Voltage regulator performance was experimentally verified using a laboratory model of the generator.
