Abstract
Tema ovog rada je analiza metagenomskog uzorka na temelju distribucije k-mera. Metagenomski uzorak je skup genomskih sekvenci koji potječu od različitih organizama, a dobivene su uređajem za sekvenciranje genoma. Postupak se temelji na predstavljanju genomskih sekvenci preko distribucijskih vektora nad kojima se provodi usporedba s referentnim genomima na temelju kosinusne sličnosti. Razrađuju se i slučajevi efikasnosti klasifikacijskog algoritma kada u metagenomskom uzorku nije unaprijed poznat sastav živih organizama. Analizom odgovarajućih parametara analizira se pouzdanost klasifikacije opisanog modela.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this study is the analysis of a metagenomic sample based on k-mer distribution. A metagenomic sample is a set of genomic sequences derived from different organisms, obtained using a genome sequencing device. The process is based on representing genomic sequences through distribution vectors, which are then compared with reference genomes based on cosine similarity. Cases of the efficiency of the classification algorithm are also elaborated when the composition of living organisms in the metagenomic sample is not known in advance. By analyzing the corresponding parameters, the reliability of the classification of the described model is assessed.
