Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad istražuje primjenu modelskog prediktivnog upravljanja (MPC) u sustavima hlađenja zatvorenih prostora, s posebnim naglaskom na sobe podatkovnih centara. Rad obuhvaća proces matematičkog modeliranja temperature i pritiska te razvoj algoritma MPC za optimizaciju rada sustava u realnom vremenu. Provedene simulacije pokazuju da MPC upravljanje nudi značajna poboljšanja u odnosu na tradicionalne metode poput PID regulacije, posebno u pogledu učinkovitosti i preciznosti održavanja temperature. Unatoč prednostima, primjena MPC-a zahtijeva optimizaciju parametara i računalnih resursa. Zaključeno je da je MPC metoda prikladna za složene sustave hlađenja, no potrebna su daljnja istraživanja kako bi se poboljšala njezina primjena u stvarnim uvjetima.

Abstract (english)

This thesis explores the application of Model Predictive Control (MPC) in cooling systems for enclosed spaces, with a particular focus on data center rooms. The work covers the mathematical modeling of temperature and pressure and the development of an MPC algorithm for real-time system optimization. The simulations demonstrate that MPC offers significant improvements over traditional methods such as PID control, especially in terms of efficiency and precision in maintaining. Despite its advantages, MPC application requires parameter optimization and computational resources. The conclusion is that MPC is a suitable method for complex cooling systems, but further research is needed to improve its implementation in real-world conditions.
