Abstract

Peltierov članak je poluvodička komponenta sastavljena od velikog broja poluvodičkih
termoparova. Očituje se u tome da će spojišta dvaju materijala spojenih u zatvorenu petlju
na izvor električne struje poprimiti različite temperature. Jedna strana Peltierove
komponente će se ugrijati a druga ohladiti, ovisno o smjeru struje. Pokazala se vrlo
efikasnom na mjestima gdje je potrebno postići niske temperature u vrlo kratkom vremenu,
stoga postoji potencijalna primjena u području regulacije temperature malih sustava. Rad je
baziran na modeliranju i načinu upravljanja radom Peltierovog članka korištenjem linearnog
izvora napajanja i PWM napajanja. Provedena je analiza oba načina upravljanja s
izvedbenim modelom i simulacijskim modelom te su istražena svojstva tijekom režima
zagrijavanja i hlađenja okoline. Rad je kompletiran regulacijom temperature Peltierovog
članka pomoću PID regulatora.

Abstract (english)

A Peltier element is a semiconductor component that can be used for heating and cooling
applications. Junctions of two materials connected in a closed loop to a source of electric
current will generate temperature difference. One side of the Peltier will heat up and the
other side will cool down, depending on the direction of the current. It can be very efficient
in places where it is necessary to achieve low temperatures in a very short period of time,
therefore there is a potential application in the field of temperature regulation of small
systems. Thesis is based on the modeling and control methods of the Peltier element using a
linear power supply and a PWM power supply. Both models were analyzed using
performance model and simulation and their results were compared. Additionally, the
properties of the module during the heating and cooling regimes in the closed environment
were examined. The work is completed by temperature control of the Peltier element using
PID regulator
