| Abstract (english) | This dataset contains the responses of a web-based questionnaire survey to investigate the system-related factors that subjects identify as most influential in contributing to their overall experience and quality perception of leisure audiovisual calls established via mobile devices. The initial survey (Phase 1) was conducted in Feb. 2020, just prior to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic (272 participants). To investigate if the importance of factors has changed due to increased usage of the service caused by the pandemic among the general population, a second survey (Phase 2) was conducted in October 2021 with 249 participants. |
| Methods (english) | The first survey (S1) was conducted as a part of phase 1, just prior to the global outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, and reflects the views and opinions of users at that time. Due to the increase in video communication services resulting from lockdown measures, in phase 2 we repeated the survey 20 months later (Survey S2), so as to assess whether or not there are any differences in user opinions. The surveys were prepared using the Google Docs service and distributed via email to acquaintances, colleagues, and students. A total of 272 participants took part in S1, with responses collected over a period of thirteen days, from February 13 until February 26, 2020. The second survey, S2, was conducted during the period between October 5 and November 15, 2021, with 249 participants successfully having completed the questionnaire. |
