Abstract

WebRTC je tehnologija koja omogućuje pružanje usluga govornih i video poziva te razmjenu poruka u stvarnom vremenu između web preglednika, bez potrebe za prethodnom instalacijom programskih dodataka. U ovom radu analiziran je WebRTC, način na koji je WebRTC komunikacija ostvarena i JavaScript API koji razvijateljima web usluga omogućuje implementaciju stvarnovremenskih značajki unutar web aplikacije. Praktični dio ovog rada implementira uslugu udaljene dijagnostike korisnika potpomognute komunikacije, zasnovanu na WebRTC-u. Cilj sustava je ponuditi stručnim osobama rješenje kojim će preko web preglednika moći dijagnosticirati osobu sa složenim komunikacijskim potrebama na isti način kao da se ta osoba nalazi u njezinom radnom prostoru. Kroz implementaciju ovog sustava, analizirane su mogućnosti i ograničenja tehnologije WebRTC za ostvarivanje pojedinih funkcionalnosti.

Abstract (english)

WebRTC is technology that provides voice, video calls and data exchange services in real time, without need for previous installation of additional plugins or programs. This work analyzes WebRTC, the way WebRTC communication is carried out and JavaScript API that enables web developers to implement real time communication features into web applications. Practical part of this thesis implements communication system for remote expert assessment of children capabilities. The goal of this system is to provide the expert with solution that will enable children diagnosis using web browser, but with the same experience as diagnosis was made in official workspace. During the implementation process, WebRTC capabilities and limitations for various functionalities were analyzed.
