U okviru ovog rada prikazana je usporedba popularnih komunikacijskih protokola koji se koriste u Internetu stvari. Objašnjene su razlike između dva tipa Iot platformi, potpuno lokalnih i potpuno temeljenih u oblaku. Detaljno je opisana popularna platforma Home Assistant te prikazani primjer kako je moguće smanjiti potrošnju električne energije korištenjem automatizacija. Abstract (english)

This paper compares common communication protocols used in the Internet of Things. The differences between the two types of IoT platforms, fully local and fully cloud-based, are explained. The popular Home Assistant platform is described in detail, and an example of how automation can reduce power consumption is presented.
