Abstract

Uporabom dinamičkih mrežnih stranica moguće je automatizirati sakupljanje podataka o interakciji korisnika sa stranicom. Sakupljeni podaci doprinose razumijevanju kognitivnih procesa korisnika te informiraju odluke u oblikovanju mrežnih stranica. Implementirana je dinamička mrežna stranica koja testira kognitivne procese radnog pamćenja i logičkog zaključivanja. 6 dobrovoljaca je pristupilo testovima i njihovi rezultati su pokazali
negativnu korelaciju između kapaciteta radnog pamćenja i sposobnosti logičkog zaključivanja kršeći se s rezultatima već provedenih istraživanja. Također je ispitivan utjecaj prostornog razmještaja elemenata korisničkog sučelja mrežne stranice na razumijevanje logike testa logičkog zaključivanja. Rezultati tog ispitivanja su pokazali značajan utjecaj navedenog. Ishodi ispitivanja potvrđuju važnost discipline oblikovanja korisničkog iskustva i njene povezanosti s kognitivnom psihologijom.

Abstract (english)

By using dynamic websites, it is possible to automate collection of user interaction data with the site. Collected data contributes to understanding cognitive processes of users and can inform decision making in website design. A dynamic web page was implemented that tests cognitive processes of working memory and logical reasoning. 6 volunteers participated in the tests and their results showed a negative correlation between working memory capacity and logical reasoning capability conflicting with results of past studies. The impact of the spatial arrangement of user interface elements of the site on the understanding of the test logic has also been studied. The results of this study showed a significant influence of the user interface. Test results confirm the importance of the discipline of user experience design and its association with cognitive psychology.
