Abstract

Svake godine CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) provodi telefonske ankete na populaciji od oko 400,000 američkih stanovnika u svrhu prikupljanja podataka o zdravlju i faktorima koji utječu na zdravlje. Prikupljeni podaci i rezultati ankete javno su dostupni za svaku godinu, s izvještajima i dokumentiranim skupom pitanja postavljenim u anketi. U okviru završnog rada istražuje se navedeni skup podataka pomoću deskriptivne statistike i vizualizacija te se odgovara na razna istraživačka pitanja o utjecaju raznih faktora na zdravlje anketirane populacije.

Abstract (english)

Every year, the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) conducts telephone surveys on approximately 400,000 US residents to collect data on their health and factors affecting their health. The collected data and survey results are publicly available for each year, along with reports and a documented set of survey questions. The aforementioned set of data is analyzed using descriptive statistics and visualizations. In addition, answers to various research questions about the influence of various factors on health of the surveyed population are given.
