Abstract

U ovom radu prikazana je implementacija klijentske IPTV aplikacije. IPTV jest sustav koji omogućuje dostavu televizijskih servisa, koristeći infrastrukturu IP protokola, što znači izmjenu paketa preko mreže kao što je LAN ili Internet, a ne putem tradicionalnih zemaljskih, satelitskih signala, kao i kablovske televizije.
Svi uređaji koji podržavaju web preglednike u mogućnosti su koristiti klijentsku IPTV aplikaciju. Dvije glavne mogućnosti IPTV sustava jesu video na zahtjev i linearna... More televizija. U diplomskom radu prikazana je implementacija jednog takvog sustava.
Zbog mogućnosti interakcije korisnika sa sustavom, budućnost televizije bazira se na IPTV-u koji, zbog nedovoljne istraženosti, krije ogroman potencijal.

Abstract (english)

This Thesis shows one of the implementations of the client IPTV application. IPTV is a system that enables delivery of television services, using IP protocol infrastructure and sending packets through network such as LAN or Internet, instead of using traditional earth, satellite signals and cable TV.
Devices that support web browsers can use client IPTV application. Two main features of the IPTV systems are video on demand and linear television. One implementation of such a system is... More shown in this Thesis.
Interaction between user and system indicates that television will be based on the IPTV in the future. Because of relatively insufficient exploration, huge potential is present in the IPTV technology.
