Abstract

Popularnost računalnih kartaških igara svakim danom je sve veća. U ovom radu uveden je drugačiji i inovativniji pristup razvoju takvih igara korištenjem računalnog vida. Pod računalnim vidom misli se na konkretnu analizu ulaznih video ili slikovnih podataka kako bi se izvlačile razne informacije primjerice o karakteristikama i položaju ključnih točaka ljudskog lica. U kontekstu ovog rada algoritmi računalnog vida korišteni su za procjenu emocije trenutnog izraza lica pojedinog igrača čime se postiže dojam napetosti unutar igre. Korišteni algoritmi ubačeni su u okvir umrežene računalne kartaške igre te je jedan od zanimljivijih zadataka bio postizanje prihvatljivijih performansi sustava pri korištenju spomenutih analiza.

Abstract (english)

The popularity of computer card games has been growing day by day. Through this paper a more different and inovative approach for the development of such games was introduced with the use of computer vision. The term computer vision includes the analysis of video or image input dana so that different kinds of information could be extracted such as key human facial points characteristics and their position. The computer vision algorithms in the context of this paper were used for the emotion estimation based on the current facial expression of the respected player which as a result raises the presence of thrilling tension within the game. The algorithms used were implemented in an online computer card game. One of the more interesting tasks was the achievement of acceptable system performances with the use of the mentioned analysis methods.
