Abstract

Sustavi za anonimnu komunikaciju na internetu omoguc ́uju da se interent koristi uz odred ̄enu dozu sigurnosti da netko tko ima nadzor nad njihovom internet vezom ne može vidjeti koje stranice posjec ́uju te, dodatno, operatori stranica koje posjec ́uju ne mogu odrediti fizicˇku niti logicˇku lokaciju korisnika. Onion Routing sustav pokušava postic ́i navedene ciljeve tako da sav promet šalje kroz mrežu volontera te pritom koristi kriptografiju kako bi svaki pojedini cˇvor u mreži znao samo identitet i lokaciju svojih susjeda. U sklopu završnog rada istražen je nacˇin na koji funkcioniraju decentralizi- rani sustavi za anonimnu komunikaciju poput Onion Routing sustava te privatnost i sigurnost koju oni daju.

Abstract (english)

Anonymous communication systems allow users to use the Internet with a certain dose of security and anonymity from ones who have the supervision of their Internet connection. Third parties shouldn’t be able to see Websites others visit, but also Web- site operators shouldn’t be able to determine either physical of logical location of their users. Onion Routing system tries to accomplish aforementioned goals by sending all the traffic through a volunteer network using cryptography so each peer knows only the identity and location of his first neighbors. Within this BSc Thesis, we explored the way decentralized systems for anonymous communication (such as the Onion Routing system) work, and what kind of security and privacy features they have.
