Abstract

U radu je dat kratki osvrt na mjerne transformatore s feromagnetskom (željeznom) jezgrom koji se u praksi nazivaju konvencionalni mjerni transformatori koji su dosegnuli svoj optimum i nisu se značajnije mijenjali u poslijednih nekoliko desetljeća. Napredak tehnologije, elektronike i elektrooptike omogućio je razvoj i upotrebu drugačijih vrsta mjernih pretvarača, bez feromagnetske jezgre, ili upotrebu (umjesto standardne željezne jezgre) drugih feritnih materijala koji imaju bolji odziv na brze promjene mjernih signala. U praksi se takvi mjerni pretvarači nazivaju nekonvencionalni mjerni transformatori, a u radu su obrađeni optički mjerni transformatori. Isti koristi optičke prijenosne sustave, tj. optičke kabele, a tehnologija mjerenja struja i napona zasnovana je na elektrooptičkim i magnetooptičkim efektima (Pockelsov i Faradayev efekt).

Abstract (english)

This paper will give a short overview of instrument transformers with a ferromagnetic (iron) core that is often called conventional instrument transformers which have reached their optimum. They did not changed significantly during the last few decades. Progress in technology, electronics and optoelectronics enabled the development and usage of different kind of measuring transducers without ferromagnetic cores or with other ferrite materials (instead of the standard iron core) that have a better response to the rapid signal changes. In practice, these instruments are called Non Conventional Instrument Transformers. The new advanced technologies are using fiber optic transmission systems, i.e. fiberoptical cables, for data transfer, as well as the new voltage and current measuring transducers based on the electro-optical and magneto-optical effects (Pockels effect and Faraday effect).
