Abstract

Tijekom pandemije COVID-19 vlade država uvodile su različite strategije i mjere kako bi umanjili rast pandemije i tako umanjili smrtnost i spriječili preopterećenje zdravstvenog sustava pokušavajući pritom umanjiti i oštećenje ekonomske situacije u zemlji. Analizom, modeliranjem i simuliranjem promjena ključnih epidemioloških faktora kao što su incidencija i reproduktivni broj s obzirom na vladine mjere, način i vrijeme u koje su uvedene u različitim državama, ovaj završni rad analizira efektivnost vladinih mjera i identificira optimalnu strategiju uvođenja mjera za vrijeme COVID-19 epidemije.

Abstract (english)

During the COVID-19 pandemic governments implemented various strategies and measures to reduce the growth of the pandemic and thus reduce mortality and prevent overburdening the healthcare system while also trying to reduce the damage of the countries' economic situation. By analysing, modelling and simulating how key epidemiologic factors such as incidence and the reproduction number change with the implementations of government measures and the way and time at which they were implemented in different countries, this thesis aims to analyse the efficiency of governments measures and identify the optimal strategy in dealing with the COVID-19 epidemic.
