Abstract

DC/AC pretvarači ili izmjenjivači danas se najčešće koriste u besprekidnim sustavima
napajanja (UPS), elektromotornim pogonima, indukcijskom grijanju i obnovljivim izvorima energije. Njihova funkcija je transformirati istosmjerni ulazni napon u izmjenični napon željene amplitude i frekvencije. Izmjenjivači najčešće moraju osigurati mnoge sigurnosne zahtjeve kako bi osigurali funkcionalnost opreme. U tome im pomažu zaštitni krugovi. Tada zaštitni krug mora što brže isključiti izmjenjivač kako ne bi došlo do uništenja poluvodičkih elemenata ili trošila. Osnovne metode detekcije kvarnog stanja su metoda detekcije izlaska IGBT-a iz zasićenja, metoda zrcalne struje, metoda mjerenja napona upravljačke elektrode i metoda s povratnom vezom di/dt. Prilikom pojave kvarnog stanja, izmjenjivač treba zaštitu od kratkog spoja, prenapona na upravljačkoj elektrodi te prevelikog blokirnog napona. U slučaju prekostruja se koristi zaštita ograničavanjem napona upravljačke elektrode, meko isklapanje te zaštita dvokoračnim gašenjem. Kako bi se smanjio utjecaj Millerove struje na napon
upravljačke elektrode koristi se aktivno pritezanje, zaštita upotrebom PNP tranzistora,
zaštita upotrebom dodatnog kondenzatora, zaštita otpornicima i zaštita upotrebom negativnog napona UGE prilikom isklapanja. Kod prenapona se koristi zaštita prigušnim i priteznim članovima.

Abstract (english)

DC/AC converters or inverters are today primarily used in uninterruptible power
supply systems (UPS), electromotor drives, inductive heating and renewable energy
sources. Their role is to transform DC input voltage into AC voltage of the required
amplitude and frequency. DC/AC converters mostly have to ensure multiple safety requirements to insure the functionality of the equipment. This is achieved through safety circuits. In case one of them occurs, the safety circuit must power off the converter as soon as possible to prevent possible destruction of semiconductor elements or the load.
Methods for detecting malfunction states can be categorized as follows: desaturation
detection method, current mirror method, gate voltage sensing method and di/dt
feedback control method. In case of a malfunction, the converter needs to be protected from short circuit, overvoltage and blocking voltage. Protections from overcurrent include: protection by gate voltage limiting, soft turn off and protection by two-step gate pulse. To diminish the impact of Miller current on the gate voltage, active clamping, protection using a PNP transistor, protection using an additional capacitor, protection using resistors and protection using negative turn-off voltage UGE can be applied. The overvoltages are suppressed with protection using damping and clamping elements.
