Abstract
Ovaj rad opisuje arhitekturu i implementaciju umrežene, višedretvene poker aplikacije s grafičkim korisničkim sučeljem. Opisuju se problemi koji nastupaju tijekom izrade takve aplikacije, te su ponuđena konkretna rješenja. Govori se o pojmovima klijenta, poslužitelja i baze podataka te kako ti dijelovi komuniciraju i stvaraju jednu veliku funkcionalnu cjelinu. Također se opisuje kako nadograditi takvu aplikaciju sustavom za rangiranje koji omogućuje uspoređivanje igrača po njihovom Elo rangu.
Abstract (english)
This thesis describes the architecture and implementation of a multiplayer, multi-threaded poker application with graphical user interface. It describes the problems which occur during the development of such application and offers the solutions to these problems. We talk about terms such as client, server and database and how these pieces communicate and define a single functional whole. Finally, we talk about upgrading the system with an Elo ranking system which allows the comparison between players using their Elo ranking.
