Abstract

Uređaji koji se povezuju Internetom u pametne mreže nazivaju se IoT uređaji i dolaze u velikom broju različitih oblika. Zbog svoje prilagodljivosti integriraju se u sve sfere okoliša, ali pod cijenu vrlo ograničenih računalnih resursa poput memorije, brzine izračuna i izvora napajanja. Kako bi se osigurao dulji rad IoT uređaja, potrebno je koristiti komponente manje potrošnje, posebice za ostvarenje visoke razine povjerljivosti podataka. U ovom je radu demonstriran rad implementacije popularnog algoritma enkripcije u IoT mrežama, AES, i uspoređen je s još 3 implementacije simetričnih blok algoritma nastalih razvojem \textit{lightweight} kriptografije: Present, Gift i Craft. Rad je algoritama ostvaren na uređaju ULX3S.

Abstract (english)

Devices that connect in smart grids using the Internet are called IoT devices and they come in a number of different shapes. They are highly adaptable and integrate into all spheres of the environment at the cost of limited computing resources such as memory, computational speed and power source. In order to ensure longer operation of IoT devices, components with lower energy consumption should be used, especially to achieve a high level of data confidentiality. This paper demonstrates the operation of the popular encryption algorithm in IoT networks, AES, and compares it with 3 other implementations of symmetric block algorithms developed in scope of lightweight cryptography: Present, Gift and Craft. The algorithms are shown on the ULX3S board.
