Abstract

Geoserver je ključna komponenta mnogih produkcijskih aplikacija koja nudi implementaciju i integraciju s mnogim standardima definiranim od Open Geospatial Consortium. U ovom diplomskom radu Geoserver se koristi kao okosnica sustava za dijeljenje geoprostornih podataka. Kroz rad je razmatran dizajn sustava, indeksiranje geoprostornih podataka u Postgis i MySQL bazama podataka i tokovi autorizacije u OAuth2 protokolu. Rad također opisuje kako implementirati predloženo rješenje koristeći Angular i Openlayers na frontend strani, Keycloak kao autorizacijski poslužitelj, Spring Cloud Gateway kao poslužitelj resursa i pristupnik Geoserveru koji čita podatke iz više izvora kao što su shapefiles ili postgis.

Abstract (english)

Geoserver is the key component of many production ready applications that offers implementation of and integration with many standards defined by Open Geospatial Consortium. In this thesis, Geoserver is used as a backbone of a system used for sharing geospatial data. Through the thesis, system design choices, indexing of geospatial data in Postgis and MySQL databases and authorization flows in OAuth2 protocol have been discussed. The thesis also describes how to implement the proposed solution using Angular and Openlayers on the frontend side, Keycloak as authorization server, Spring Cloud Gateway as resource server and gateway to the Geoserver that reads data out of multiple sources such as shapefiles or postgis.
