Abstract

Standardni naponi digitalnih sklopova su 5V i 3.3V. U kompleksnijim sklopovima
potrebna su oba napona. Ukoliko sklop treba biti prijenosan napajan je baterijom. Danas su
atraktivne Li-ion baterije zbog velike energetske gustoće po volumenu te mogućnosti
ponovnog punjenja. Napon pune litijeve baterije iznosi 4.2V dok napon prazne može biti do
2.8V. U ovom radu biti će napravljen pregled i analiza mogućih konfiguracija koje će od
jednog Li-ion članka davati napone od 3.3V u rasponu struja od 50 mA do 300 mA te 5V u
rasponu struja od 150 mA do 800 mA. Biti će odabrana optimalna konfiguracija te praktično
realizirana te uspoređena s analitičkim/simuliranim vrijednostima.

Abstract (english)

Common voltages for digital circuits are 5V and 3.3V. In more advanced circuits
both voltages are used. If the circuit is to be used in the field it needs battery power.
Nowadays Li-ion battery are popular because of their energy density per volume and the
ability to be recharged. The voltage of a fully charged Li-ion cell is around 4.2V while a
discharged one can go as low as 2.8V. An overview and analysis of all possible
configurations will be made in order to design a power supply that will supply 3.3V with an
output current capability of 50 mA to 300 mA and 5V with an output current capability of
150 mA to 800 mA from a single Li-ion cell. The best combination will then be physically
constructed, tested and comapared to the analitical and simulation data.
