Abstract

Solarna energija smatra se neiscrpnim i obnovljivim izvorom energije, a jedan od osnovnih načina iskorištavanja Sunčeve energije je njezina izravna pretvorba u električnu energiju pomoću fotonaponskih sustava. Fotonaponski sustavi ne ispuštaju štetne plinove u atmosferu i minimalno utječu na prirodu i okoliš. U prvim poglavljima rada, opisani su fotonaponski moduli i njihovi glavni dijelovi, objašnjena je teorija fotonaponskih ćelija i fotonaponski efekt. Također je provedeno dimenzioniranje invertera čime je određen broj panela koji se može spojiti na jedan inverter. Zasjenjenje ima najveći utjecaj na proizvodnju električne energije. Glavni cilj rada bio je implementirati predmetnu solarnu elektranu za kućanstvo, koristeći programski paket PV*SOL i provesti analizu isplativosti za 3 karakteristična slučaja – koristeći tri različita tipa invertera: središnji inverter, mikroinverter i inverter s optimizatorima, u uvjetima bez i sa zasjenjenjem.

Abstract (english)

The solar energy is inexhaustible energy resource and one of the principal ways of using solar energy is its transformation into the electric energy using photovoltaic (PV) systems. PV systems do not emit greenhouse gasses and have minimal impact on the environment and landscape. The first part of the paper describes photovoltaic modules and their main components, theory of photovoltaic cells and photovoltaic effect. The paper also provides the sizing concept of inverters which shows us how many panels can be wired into a single input of the inverter. The main problem is impact of module shading on electricity production. The goal of this paper is to determine optimal design of a photovoltaic (PV) system for the house-hold using PV*SOL program package and cost-benefit analysis for three characteristic cases – using three different types of inverters: string inverter, microinverters and inverter with optimizers, with and without shading conditions.
